I guess I spoke too soon when I told Fred that Beulah was doing fine. Due to neurological damage either brought on or made worse by the surgery, she had to be put down today. Jeanne says that it is painless, and we can all take comfort in knowing that everything that could have been done for her was. Thanks again to everyone who contributed to Beul-Aid, we bought her a bit more time than she might otherwise have had.
One request that Jeanne had was that if anyone has pictures of Beulah that they would be willing to share, to send them to Diana(her owner) at dailygrindequine@aol.com. She apparently has like no pictures of her, and would appreciate it a lot.
Maybe, if everyone could give an extra scritch to the animals in their lives on Beulah's behalf today, that would be cool. They give so much to their humans, and Beulah was definitely a special girl, and a big part of our fair. We'll miss her lots.
Fred, or anyone else -- could you please spread the news to any relevant rennie boards, so the rest of our community knows.
